Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge is an architect and university lecturer. She lives in Berlin and studied at the BTU Cottbus, the Iuav in Venice, the USI Mendrisio and the ETH Zurich, from which she received her diploma in 2005. After graduating, she worked for 5 years at SANAA/ Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa in Tokyo. In 2010 she founded the office June 14 Meyer-Grohbrügge & Chermayeff together with Sam Chermayeff and in 2015 the office Meyer-Grohbrügge. Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge teaches at DIA Dessau, Columbia GSAPP, Northeastern University Boston-Berlin and led the Berlin Program at Washington University St. Louis. In October 2021, she was appointed to the TU Darmstadt, where she heads the Chair of Design and Interior Design.
