About Speaker

Nicole Kerstin Berganski, co-founder of NKBAK, has gained her experience in renowned offices for several years. She worked at SANAA in Tokyo for four years – the studio of Pritzker Prize winners Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa – and was project architect responsible for the Zollverein School in Essen and the Novartis office building in Basel.

In 2007 her and Andreas Krawczyk established their own studio NKBAK. Since then, they have realized projects in a wide range of scales, from weekend houses to daycare centers and school buildings. NKBAK’s built projects reveal their distinct sense of space and deep understanding of modern construction techniques. In addition to utilizing classical materials, the architects have discovered and developed the potential of timber construction as a central element in their work. Nicole Kerstin Berganski combines her executive architectural practice with academic teaching, for instance at KIT in Karlsruhe and TU Darmstadt.

Virtual Feedback Cards for the Speaker

Dear viewer, Maybe you have never attended on of our events, but maybe you know this already. Your work is required! As the speakers share many of their personal experiences with us, we would like to present them a special gift, now in a virtual way.

Please write down on the following text box what you enjoyed most about the talk. Our goal is to present each speaker with personal feedback cards, as we do at our events. At our events, we collect the cards right before we start with the round table and hand them over in a box at the end of the event.

Please participate! Our speakers love it and we want to continue with this tradition.

Here, we will collect the messages and forward them via e.mail to our speaker:
