About Speaker
Manuelle Gautrand was born in Marseille. She studied Architecture at the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Montpellier” and graduated in 1985. For 6 years she worked in different architecture studios in Paris. She founded her own office, Manuelle Gautrand Architecture, in 1991, first in Lyon and then in Paris. She has been living and working in Paris since 1994. Her clients are public contracting authorities as well as private firms, in France and abroad.
In 2007 her “C42” Citroën Flagship Showroom on the Champs-Élysées Avenue in Paris gained attention and widespread acclaim in the international arena and from a large audience. She is a member of numerous international architectural juries and has been teaching at Universities in France, Austria, and the USA.
