Zoran Bodrožić wurde 1959 in Zagreb geboren. Er studierte von 1978 bis 1985 an der architektonischen Fakultät der Universität Zagreb. Nach Abschluss seines Studiums arbeitete er bis 1990 im Architekturbüro Interinženjering in Zagreb und war als Honorarassistent an der Universität Zagreb tätig.
Seine Befugnis als Architekt in Kroatien erhielt er in 1989 und arbeitete daraufhin als freischaffender Architekt in Zagreb und Wien. In 1997 gründete er, gemeinsam mit Damit Novoselec, das „Architectural Office ZID Limited“ in Zagreb und in 2002, das Architekturbüro „08 16 Architektur“ mit Johann Lettner in Wien. Seit 2005 besteht sein Architekturbüro azb – Architekt Zoran Bodrožić.
