About Speaker

Petra Wörner was born in Karlsruhe and studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart as well as the IIT-Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. After receiving her degree in 1983 and work-related stays in Chicago and New York, she started working as a design architect and project manager at Wörner Traxler Richter in 1984. In 1991, she became a partner and in 1993 a co-owner of the office community at the time. Since 1997, she has been managing partner of Wörner Traxler Richter Planungsgesellschaft mbh and since 2017 chief executive of Wörner Traxler Richter Schweiz gmbh.

Petra Wörner has been hosting further training seminars for architects of the Hessische Architektenkammer and participates in architecture competitions as a candidate and judge. Until the end of 2017, she was chairman of the architectural advisory board of Linz and has been representing the urban planning advisory board of Frankfurt on the Main.
