Event text

One more premiere this year!
The event series Architects, not Architecture will hold its first edition in Belgium. Every architect knows famous buildings – but do you know the people, who designed and built them? Who are they, and how did they become what they are today? You will find the answers, and a lot more, at AMUZ on November 21.

The concept is always the same and has already inspired thousands of people in different cities. Architects, not Architecture or “AnA” – as the name suggests – provides a glimpse into the biography of great personalities of architecture. The event series is not about the projects of the architects, but about them as individuals, their professional backgrounds and formative individual experiences that shaped the works we all know. This provides new perspectives and inspires on a more personal level. Come to AMUZ and discover a new kind of event series.

On 21st November, two well-known Belgian architects and one special guest are going to talk about their personal experiences and important creative periods in their lives and, as always at “AnA“, not a word may be lost about their projects:

Michiel Riedijk, co-founder Neutelings Riedijk Architects, Rotterdam, www.neutelings-riedijk.com
– Christine Conix, co-founder CONIX RDBM Architects, Antwerp, www.conixrdbm.com
– Julien De Smedt, founder JDS Architects, Copenhagen/Brussels, www.jdsa.eu

The event will be held in English.

This event is kindly supported by our partners Schüco BelgiumBoConceptJUNG and FSB.

Virtual Feedback Cards for the Speaker

Dear viewer, Maybe you have never attended on of our events, but maybe you know this already. Your work is required! As the speakers share many of their personal experiences with us, we would like to present them a special gift, now in a virtual way.

Please write down on the following text box what you enjoyed most about the talk. Our goal is to present each speaker with personal feedback cards, as we do at our events. At our events, we collect the cards right before we start with the round table and hand them over in a box at the end of the event.

Please participate! Our speakers love it and we want to continue with this tradition.

Here, we will collect the messages and forward them via e.mail to our speaker:
