From a young age, Nanne de Ru has been interested in art and architecture. In 2005, he co-founded Powerhouse Company – an architectural firm with offices in Rotterdam, Munich, and Oslo. During the financial crisis in 2008, de Ru seized the opportunity to separate the development of major projects from the architectural firm and co-founded RED Company in 2015. The ambition is to organize the entire chain from development to construction of real estate according to his own vision. That is why he recently established RED Company together with Niels Jansen. Their vision focuses on a healthy mix of sustainability, serving a broad target group, and offering value for investors – without losing sight of high-quality architecture.
