About Peter Haimerl
Peter Haimerl was born in 1961. He founded his own practice Peter Haimerl Architektur in Munich in 1991.
In his work he focusses on projects that exceed the limits of conventional architecture. Their idiosyncrasy of his projects arises from a radical local connection. He creates concepts which fuse themes like computer programming, sociology, economy, politics and arts. His projects have been awarded numerous prizes and distinctions.
In addition to the work in his studio he has held professorships at FH Munich, HfbK Braunschweig and the University of Kassel. He launched the “Haus.Paten” initiative. Old farmhouses are remodeled as spectacularly as poetically. This has resulted in projects such as the incredible Blaibach concert hall.
AnA Munich 04 – On September 12, 2019, Architects, not Architecture took place in Munich for the fourth time. Very special Architects shared their fascinating life stories: Christoph Mäckler, Peter Haimerl and Christiane Thalgott.
Virtual Feedback Cards for the Speaker
Maybe you have never attended our events, but perhaps know this already. Your effort is required! As the speakers share many of their personal experiences with us, we would like to present them a special gift, now digitally.
Please write into the text box below what you enjoyed most about the talk. Our goal is to present each speaker with personal feedback cards, as we do at our events. At our events, we collect the cards right before we start with the round-table-discussion and hand them over in a box at the end of the event.
Please participate! Our speakers love it and we want to continue with this tradition.
Here, we will collect the messages and forward them via e.mail to our speaker:
