Home Edition 2020

Let’s keep the cultural life alive!  As a consequence of Covid-19, our social and cultural life has been reduced to a minimum and we all need to adapt to this unprecedented situation. Since we have a commitment with you, with the architecture scene, we came up with this new idea that is meant to lift your spirits and provide you with some genuine inspiration – at your home. Therefore, from Monday, March 23rd, onwards, each day at 7 p.m. we will be sharing one of the unique talks from the previous 35 events that we have held during the last 5 years.

TALK #46: Peter Ippolito
– This talk was held in German

About Peter Ippolito

Peter Ippolito studied architecture in Stuttgart and Chicago. During this period he was an assistant to Prof. Ben Nicholson (Chicago) and collected valuable practical experience in the studio of Daniel Libeskind (Berlin). He set up Ippolito Fleitz Group together with Gunter Fleitz in 2002 and in 2015, Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz were the first German interior designers to be admitted to Interior Design magazine’s prestigious ›Hall of Fame‹. As architects of identity, the studio conceives and constructs buildings, interiors and landscapes; they develop products and communication measures. Their aim is to create solutions and become a purposeful part of a whole and yet be distinctive in their own right. In addition to his creative work, Peter Ippolito has held various teaching positions and is in keen demand as a speaker and as a member of competition juries. Peter Ippolito is a member of the German Designers Club (Deutscher Designer Club).

AnA Stuttgart 03 – Architects, not Architecture took place in Stuttgart for the third time on May 28, 2019. This time four impressive architects shared their stories at the Theaterhaus.  Stefan Behnisch, Peter Ippolito, Liza Heilmeyer and Birk Heilmeyer.

This talk is presented with the support of Bette
Peter Ippolito has been living a colorful life. He shares memories of growing up in a mix of confessions, trying out different jobs, traveling a lot and finding his vocation along the way. With a broad range of colors and dimensions, Bette creates an environment which makes it possible for people to experience themselves in entirely new ways.

Eye-catching contrast or effect colours present individual bathroom elements as coloured eye-catchers which shimmer in an exciting way depending on the light incidence. They focus on current bathroom interiors, materials, colours, shapes and finishes. However, colour in the bathroom does not automatically mean brightly coloured. Timeless, discreet shades and pastel colours are in fashion. More than 40 percent of Bette customers now choose coloured floor-level shower surfaces made from glazed titanium steel. Check out their different design versions: Link

Virtual Feedback Cards for the Speaker

Dear viewer,
Maybe you have never attended our events, but perhaps know this already. Your effort is required! As the speakers share many of their personal experiences with us, we would like to present them a special gift, now digitally.

Please write into the text box below what you enjoyed most about the talk. Our goal is to present each speaker with personal feedback cards, as we do at our events. At our events, we collect the cards right before we start with the round-table-discussion and hand them over in a box at the end of the event.

Please participate! Our speakers love it and we want to continue with this tradition.

Here, we will collect the messages and forward them via e.mail to our speaker:
