Home Edition 2020

Let’s keep the cultural life alive!  As a consequence of Covid-19, our social and cultural life has been reduced to a minimum and we all need to adapt to this unprecedented situation. Since we have a commitment with you, with the architecture scene, we came up with this new idea that is meant to lift your spirits and provide you with some genuine inspiration – at your home. Therefore, from Monday, March 23rd, onwards, each day at 7 p.m. we will be sharing one of the unique talks from the previous 35 events that we have held during the last 5 years.

TALK #30: Stefan Forster
This talk (held in German) is kindly presented by JUNG

About Stefan Forster

Stefan Forster studied Architecture at TU Berlin and in Venice and graduated in 1984. After working in Berlin and Mannheim he was a scientific employee at TU Darmstadt from 1988 to 1993. 1989, he founded his studio Stefan Forster Architekten. In 2018, he founded Compendium BIM + Kybernetik together with Florian Kraft und Torben Wadlinger.

In terms of both content and form his architecture is firmly rooted in the continuing tradition of the European city. For him, architecture is only sustainable if it serves to regain the quality of life in the urban environment. His architecture therefore focuses on the user and, due to respect to location and history, it explores the interface between the individual, the housing community and urban society. In this way Stefan Forster Architekten creates architecture that promotes contact between the residents and also offers scope for individualisation within the urban context. www.sfa.de

AnA Frankfurt 02 – Our first event in 2020 took place in Frankfurt. We were glad to be back for the second time and excited to listen to the stories of three fascinating architects. Andreas Moser, Nicole Kerstin Berganski and Stefan Forster.

This talk is presented by JUNG.
Over the last few years, the JUNG Architecture talks have become a fixture in the German architectural calendar and they have also become popular on the international stage. In reaction to the current restrictions caused by the coronavirus, they quickly came up with webinars, online architecture talks and podcasts.

No matter if you are joining from your home or your office – lean back and enjoy some advanced training. JUNG is inviting you to join their webinars with relevant and up-to-date topics from the building industry. On a regular basis, we are teaching architects, interior designers, designers and planners with our online events.

Participation is free of charge. After signing up you will receive an email confirmation with further details on participation. Check out their new international events and their German activities.

Virtual Feedback Cards for the Speaker

Dear viewer,
Maybe you have never attended our events, but perhaps know this already. Your effort is required! As the speakers share many of their personal experiences with us, we would like to present them a special gift, now digitally.

Please write into the text box below what you enjoyed most about the talk. Our goal is to present each speaker with personal feedback cards, as we do at our events. At our events, we collect the cards right before we start with the round-table-discussion and hand them over in a box at the end of the event.

Please participate! Our speakers love it and we want to continue with this tradition.

Here, we will collect the messages and forward them via e.mail to our speaker:
