About Speaker
Christoph Felger wurde 1967 in Hechingen, Deutschland geboren. Nachdem er seine Ausbildung als Möbeltischler abgeschlossen hatte, studierte er Architektur an der Architectural Association School of Architecture und Produkt- und Möbeldesign an der Central St.Martins School of Art and Design in London, UK. Seit 1999 ist er für David Chipperfield Architects tätig. Zunächst in London und seit 2000 in Berlin, wo er ab 2006 das Büro als Direktor leitete. Seit 2011 ist er Partner und als geschäftsführender Gesellschafter für die Entwurfs- und Konzeptentwicklung zahlreicher internationaler Projekte tätig.
Neben seiner Arbeit für DCA engagiert sich Christoph Felger regelmäßig als Juror unterschiedlicher Wettbewerbe und hielt außerdem einen Lehrauftrag an der Architectural Association School of Architecture, London inne. Seit 2017 ist der Mitglied des Gestaltungsbeirats Pforzheim.
