About Speaker

Amandus Samsøe Sattler is one of the founding partners of the Munich-based architecture firm Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten. The firm’s projects have been awarded numerous prizes and distinctions, among them the German Architecture Award, the German Lighting Architecture Prize, and the Hugo Häring Award.

Amandus Samsøe Sattler lectures at national and international universities. He is a member of the Architectural Advisory Board of the city of Oldenburg, and the Board of Directors of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). He serves on the Board of the German Society for Christian Art, the Editorial Board of the md-Interior magazine, and the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Museum of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich and the Kulturforum. He also acts as an adjudicator in architecture competitions and peer review committees.
